Language Experiences:

  • Pretend to fix things with tools and pound nails in wood.
  • Fix a broken toy with a screwdriver.
  • Make a paper toolbox complete with tools.
  • Make a construction site road.
  • Examine and manipulate various kitchen tools/utensils.
  • Make nachos using various kitchen tools.
  • Pretend to be a crane and "pick up" heavy and light objects.
  • Sort tools into different categories (construction, kitchen, school).
  • Jan will put on a "Made for T.V." cooking show and make guacamole with a variety of kitchen tools. Thanks Jan!
