• We will bury things in dirt and dig "under the ground" to find them.
• We will make play dough and then construct an "ant farm."
• We will explore worms.
• We will make a paper craft ground hog.
• We will make "ants on a log" for a snack.
• We will examine various items that sink and float.
• We will make an ocean with sand, water, and ocean animals.
• We will make a paper plate octopus.
• We will make yummy jello oceans!
• We will go "scuba diving" in our pretend ocean.

Notes: Thank you to all of you for attending your child's spring progress report meeting! Each day I come to work and listen to all of the children communicate for themselves, I'm reminded of how blessed I am to have this job. Thanks to all of you...this wouldn't be possible without your love, support, dedication, and encouragement ( I really could go on and on....:))! Someday your child will be thanking you for all of the sacrifices that you have made to allow them to listen and speak. We are lucky to have such wonderful families be a part of Northern Voices! • Pretend to fix things with tools and pound nails in wood.
• Fix a broken toy with a screwdriver.
• Make a paper toolbox complete with tools.
• Make a construction site road.
• Examine and manipulate various kitchen tools/utensils.
• Make nachos using various kitchen tools.
• Pretend to be a crane and "pick up" heavy and light objects.
• Sort tools into different categories (construction, kitchen, school).
• Jan will put on a "Made for T.V." cooking show and make guacamole with a variety of kitchen tools. Thanks Jan!
