Language Experiences:
- Act out many things that a farmer might do on his farm
- Field trip to Dodge Nature Center: Farm
- Make a farm display complete with a barn, pond, mud, silo, tractor, fence etc.
- Make mud (chocolate pudding) and have pigs roll in it
- Milk a pretend cow (rubber gloves)
- Sheer a pretend sheep and talk about the things you can make with the wool
- Plant a garden on the farm
- Learn about the chicken coop and make scrambled eggs for breakfast
- Make tissue paper flowers for May Day
- Make May baskets and give to friends
